About

Yahoo Finance is a custom integration that shows stock information from Yahoo Finance as sensors in Home Assistant. Each tracked symbol becomes a sensor whose state is the current value, with further details as attributes. Values can be shown in a different currency than the one reported, and the currency symbol can replace the currency code as the unit. Optional attribute groups cover dividends, fifty day and two hundred day averages, fifty two week highs and lows, and pre and post market data. The update interval can be changed or switched to manual, and rounding of numbers and trending icons are adjustable. Symbols are defined in the YAML configuration, and the README notes that requests may fail outside the US because of data privacy rules.
