About
ics Calendar is an integration that adds calendars from ICS (icalendar) files to the Home Assistant calendar. Each calendar is added through the UI with a name, and the URL of the ICS file is set in the connection options. It supports HTTP Basic and Digest authentication with a username and password, and advanced connection options cover a custom Accept header, a custom User-agent header and a connection timeout. Calendar options include the number of days, whether all day events are included, include and exclude filters, a summary prefix, a time offset in hours, and a choice between two parsers. The download interval is set in minutes and should be a multiple of 15, because it follows the calendar update cycle in Home Assistant. It is meant for simple hosting of ICS files and relies on the vendor's cloud connection, and the README suggests the CalDAV platform for servers that support CalDAV.

From the README
Provides a component for ICS (icalendar) calendars for Home Assistant
NOTE: This component is intended for use with simple hosting of ICS files. If your server supports CalDAV, please use the caldav calendar platform instead. This one might work, but probably not well.
