About

WattWächter Plus is a built-in integration that reads data from a WattWächter Plus device over the local network. It adds sensors for active power, grid frequency, total feed-in and total consumption, plus separate values for feed-in tariff 1 and 2 and consumption tariff 1 and 2. An SSID sensor is included as well, and an update entity is provided. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with the device host and an API token. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the entry, and re-authentication is supported if the token needs replacing. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
