About
Ridwell is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Ridwell account for waste pickup information. It talks to the vendor's cloud, so an internet connection and account credentials are required, and it is set up in the UI with a username and password. It provides a calendar of pickups, a sensor for the next pickup, and a switch to opt in to the next pickup. An option controls the details shown in parentheses after each calendar event title: the pickup state, the name of the next rotating category, or nothing. A diagnostics download is available to attach to bug reports.
