About
Knocki is a built-in integration that connects Knocki devices to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It adds event entities, so knock gestures detected by the device can be used as triggers in automations. Setup happens in the UI and asks for a username and password for the Knocki account. Home Assistant can spot it on the network and offer to add it, and new devices appear later without repeating setup. Nothing extra needs to be installed, since it ships with Home Assistant.
