About

Jewish Calendar is a built-in integration that provides Jewish calendar dates, holidays and halachic times. It works locally and is set up in the UI, with choices for location, elevation, time zone, language and whether the location is outside of Israel. It adds sensors for the date, holidays, Daf Yomi, the Omer count and halachic times such as dawn, midday, sunset and the latest time for Shma. Binary sensors show Erev Shabbat or Hag, Motzei Shabbat or Hag, and whether Issur Melacha is in effect. Three calendars cover daily events, yearly events and the learning schedule, and options choose which entries each one shows. Options also set the minutes before sunset for candle lighting and the minutes after sunset for Havdalah, and an action returns the phrase for counting the Omer on a given date.
