About
Hypontech Cloud is a built-in integration that reads data from Hypontech accounts through the vendor's cloud. It adds sensors and binary sensors to Home Assistant for the connected solar equipment. The sensors cover battery power, battery state of charge, grid power, load power, PV power, energy produced today, lifetime energy and total power. It is set up in the user interface with the username and password of a Hypontech Cloud account. The setup also asks for the manufacturer, meaning the brand that sold the equipment. Because it depends on the vendor's cloud, it needs an internet connection to work.
