About

File size is a built-in integration that reports the size of a file on the local system. It adds sensors for the size of the file, the size in bytes, and the time the file was last updated, along with a created timestamp. Each sensor is tied to a file path that is given during setup, so one file is watched per entry. It works locally without any cloud service and needs nothing beyond Home Assistant itself. Setup is done in the user interface.
