About
AquaCell is a built-in Home Assistant integration that reads water softener data from the vendor's cloud. It adds sensors for the salt level on the left and right sides, each shown as a percentage and as time remaining. A last update sensor shows when data was last refreshed, and a Wi-Fi strength sensor reports the signal of the device. Because it relies on the vendor's cloud, an internet connection is required for it to work. It is set up in the UI by choosing a brand and entering an email and password, and it ships with Home Assistant, so nothing extra needs installing.
