About

Graphite Theme is a Home Assistant theme with matching dark and light modes. It uses native device fonts and keeps one design language across the interface, from the admin panel to code editors. Two additional variants, Graphite E-Ink Light and Graphite E-Ink Dark, are made for e-paper displays and aim for readability on e-ink dashboards. The primary color and other details can be changed with a separate patcher tool, which is meant for advanced users comfortable editing scripts and configs. A theme development kit with a token abstraction and a script is also provided to keep variants consistent and to serve as a base for custom themes. It is installed through the Marketplace, or through HACS on 2026.10 and older.
