About

synthwave-hass is a Home Assistant theme with a synthwave-inspired look, based on the Synthwave VSCode Theme. It changes the appearance of the interface through a theme file and is described by its author as experimental. Setup means placing the theme file in the themes directory, adding the theme configuration to the main configuration file, and then selecting it from the profile page or in configuration. An optional companion project, synthwave-hass-extras, adds styling that a theme file alone cannot provide. The project is no longer supported, since Home Assistant now offers limited theme customization and the author lost time to maintain it, though community pull requests are still reviewed and accepted.
