About

Feedparser is a Home Assistant integration that reads RSS feeds and exposes their entries as sensors. It is built to work together with a custom Lovelace list card, which can display the feed items. Each feed entry can carry an image link, and when none is found in the entry, the Home Assistant logo is used in its place. The original publication date is kept as a published attribute, and other date values such as updated, created and expired may also be present, depending on the feed. Inclusion and exclusion lists limit which fields are returned, and all fields are returned when neither is set. It is configured in the YAML configuration file and relies on the vendor's cloud connection.
