# carelink

Carelink is an unofficial custom integration that reads data from the Medtronic Carelink platform into Home Assistant. It adds sensors and binary sensors and relies on the vendor's cloud for its data. An integrated Nightscout uploader can send the data on to a Nightscout server, using a URL and API secret entered in the settings. The polling interval is adjustable between 30 and 300 seconds. Setup runs in the UI, with login data entered there or supplied through a token file that a companion add-on can generate. The README lists the Medtronic Guardian Connect CGM and the MiniMed 770G pump as supported devices, both still to be confirmed.
