# Sonnenbatterie

> Sonnenbatterie is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 615 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated July 18, 2026.

Sonnenbatterie is an integration that shows statistics from a Sonnenbatterie home battery in Home Assistant. It communicates locally with the battery and is added as a custom repository in the Marketplace, then set up in the UI with user, password, IP address, update interval and an optional debug mode. The main focus is a large set of sensors, along with binary sensors for alarms such as inverter over temperature, hardware shutdown and grid abnormal. It also adds buttons to reset charge and discharge commands, numbers for forced charge power, forced discharge power and battery reserve, and a select for the operating mode. Actions can set the operating mode, force charging or discharging at a given power, set the backup capacity, and set or read charging schedules used in Time-of-Use mode. The README says older batteries, such as a 2014 model 9.2 eco, do not work.
