# AsusRouter

> AsusRouter is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 2.6k installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 27, 2026.

AsusRouter is a custom integration that monitors and controls routers running AsusWRT or AsusWRT-Merlin firmware. It talks to the router locally through the same HTTP or HTTPS interface the router's web interface uses. Monitoring covers connected devices, CPU, RAM, load average, temperature, network, ports, WAN and WLAN, plus guest WLAN, LED, Aura RGB, OpenVPN and parental control. Control is available for guest WLAN, LED, Aura RGB, OpenVPN, parental control and WLAN. It provides binary sensors, buttons, device trackers, lights, sensors, switches and update entities, along with events and services. Setup happens in the UI with the router address, username, password, port and an option for SSL, and most settings can be changed later.
