# Sunlight Intensity

Sunlight Intensity is an integration that shows how much sun falls on each wall of a house. It adds sensors that give a percentage per wall, calculated from the direction of the sun (azimuth). As the sun moves around the property, each wall sensor changes, and a wall reads 100% when the sun is at 90° to it. Setup in the UI asks for latitude, longitude and a house angle, where 0° means the front faces north, and these values can be changed later in the options. It works locally and needs the Marketplace (HACS on 2026.10 and older). The README suggests uses such as closing blinds when the back wall reaches a set intensity or turning on a fan for the right wall.
