# E3DC RSCP connect

> E3DC RSCP connect is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 223 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 18, 2026.

E3DC RSCP connect is a custom integration that links E3/DC energy storage systems to Home Assistant. It talks to the device directly on the local network over the RSCP protocol, so no E3/DC cloud is involved. It adds sensors for home, grid, battery, PV and additional generator power and energy, plus numbers for charging current and remote control power. A select sets the charging mode, and a switch turns on remote control. Home Assistant can discover the system on the network and offer to add it, and login works with either a local user or a portal account. Setup happens in the UI, and an options step lets credentials and the update interval be changed later.

## Supports

- **Works locally**: Talks to your devices on your own network. No vendor cloud in between.
- **Found by itself**: Home Assistant spots it on the network and offers to add it.
- **From the Marketplace**: Installed through the Marketplace, formerly HACS.
- **Actively maintained**: Its author released or pushed a change in the last six months.

## Setting it up

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant, then add it under Settings, Devices and services.

## From the README

> A Home Assistant custom integration for E3/DC energy storage systems (S10 battery storage). It communicates directly with the device on your local network using the proprietary RSCP (Remote Storage Control Protocol), giving you access to your battery storage, connected wallboxes and power meters — without going through the E3/DC cloud.
>
> - Autodetection of connected storage systems and auto commissioning of all wallboxes connected to the storage system.
> - Local polling over TCP (port 5033) using Rijndael-256 encrypted RSCP frames — no cloud dependency.
> - Live readings for the main storage system:
> - State of charge, battery power, battery state
> - PV production, grid import/export, house consumption
> - Energy counters (daily / total)
> - Emergency power status
> - Device state and firmware update state
> - Wallbox support:
> - Charge power and charging state
> - Adjustable charging current
> - for every connected wallbox
