# Browser mod

> Browser mod is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 28.7k installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 25, 2026.

Browser mod is an integration that turns a browser into a controllable entity and media player in Home Assistant. Each registered browser can be targeted by services, for example to open a popup or navigate to a certain dashboard. It also lets a browser play media from the Home Assistant media library and be used as a camera. Popup cards can replace the more-info dialog of an entity or serve as a template for the popup service. A configuration panel in the sidebar holds the settings, and the integration works locally and is added through the UI. A repair notice covers a default dashboard plugin conflict, and a diagnostics download is available for bug reports.
