It has 2.5k installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 8, 2026. SpotifyPlus is a custom integration that adds Spotify Connect player control and Spotify Web API actions to Home Assistant. It provides a media player entity that supports browsing media, queueing items, playback control, seeking, shuffle, repeat, source selection and volume control. Beyond the player, it offers a large set of actions covering most of the Spotify Web API, such as checking whether albums, artists, tracks or playlists are in the user's library, following artists, playlists or users, and fetching album and artist information. Options cover a default player device, scripts to turn the playing device on or off, hidden source names, the polling interval, and pause or resume behavior when the player is switched off or on. Credentials for connecting to inactive devices can also be entered. It signs in through Spotify's own page using application credentials, needs the Spotify cloud, and is added as a custom repository in the Marketplace before setup in the UI.
