Linus dashboard is an integration that builds a Home Assistant dashboard sorted by rooms, floors and device types. It organizes devices automatically, so new devices land in the matching area view without hand-written YAML. Separate views group devices of one type, such as lights, covers, switches or climate, across the whole home. The layout adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop screens, and existing custom dashboards can be embedded as extra views in the menu. Options cover which alarms and weather entity to show, hiding the greeting message, and excluding targets, domains, device classes or integrations. No vendor cloud in between. - **From the Marketplace**: Installed through the Marketplace, formerly HACS. - **Actively maintained**: Its author released or pushed a change in the last six months. ## Setting it up Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant, then add it under Settings, Devices and services. ### After setup - **Alarms to display**: List of alarms to control in the dashboard. - **Weather entity**: Weather entity used to display weather conditions. - **Hide greeting message**: Check this box to hide the greeting message on the dashboard. - **Hide zone/floor groups from voice assistants**: Check this box to keep the area/floor/global group entities (lights, presence, switches, etc.) out of Google Home/Alexa exposure — recommended given how many they add on a house with several areas. - **Embedded dashboards (select views in desired order)**: Select external dashboard views to embed in Linus Dashboard. Views will appear in the menu in the order selected. - **Targets to exclude**: Specific targets that will be excluded from the dashboard. - **Domains to exclude**: Domains that will be excluded from the dashboard. - **Device classes to exclude**: Device classes that will be excluded from the dashboard. - **Integrations to exclude**: Integrations to exclude from the dashboard.
