It has 450 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 22, 2026. DWD Precipitation Forecast is an integration that provides a precipitation forecast for the next two hours. The forecast is derived from the rain radar forecast of Deutscher Wetterdienst and only works in Germany. It adds sensors for the current precipitation intensity at a chosen location, with forecast values over the next two hours in 5-minute steps as attributes. Another sensor describes the start, end, length and intensity of the next precipitation event. Further sensors indicate whether rain is expected within the next 15, 30 or 60 minutes. It relies on the vendor's cloud data and is set up in the UI by entering a location name, latitude and longitude, and it is an independent project with no connection to the weather service.
