It has 130 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 25, 2026. Blitzer.de is a Home Assistant integration that brings road reports from the Blitzer.de cloud service into Home Assistant. It watches either an area, set by a centre point and radius, or a route drawn along waypoints, and also supports a device tracker. Reports arrive as geo location entities for the map card, covering speed and other controls as well as traffic hazards such as tailbacks, accidents and roadworks. Controls and hazards each have their own update interval, whitelist and blacklist, and can be refreshed on demand through actions. Sensors report counts, and with TomTom as routing service also travel time, traffic delay and route length. A bundled blueprint and a dashboard card come with it, and setup is done in the UI.
