# LCARdS

> LCARdS is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 259 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 20, 2026.

LCARdS is a card system for Home Assistant that builds dashboards styled after the Star Trek LCARS interfaces. It supports Master Systems Display layouts with controls, reactive behavior and animations. The cards share common services such as a rules engine, data source pipelines, theme tokens, coordinated animations and sounds, so they work as one system rather than separate components. It supersedes the CB-LCARS project and is meant to be used alongside the HA-LCARS theme. The integration runs locally, is added through the UI, and has no external dependencies. Its options cover an optional sidebar panel with a custom title and icon, a log level setting, and a switch for preview features still under development.
