# SmartHomeShop.io

> SmartHomeShop.io is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 56 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 18, 2026.

SmartHomeShop.io is a Home Assistant integration that connects SmartHomeShop devices and runs locally. It adds binary sensors and sensors for water and energy, including leak detection states, a leak score, water usage for the day, week, month and year, and water cost for the day. Leak detection can be tuned with a continuous flow alarm time, a night monitoring window and an optional vacation mode switch that raises an alert on any water use while it is on. Device settings also hold electricity, gas and water prices, feed-in compensation and the main fuse size per phase, which feed the cost and phase load sensors. An action applies the current battery plan to a chosen control entity, and a diagnostics download is available for bug reports. It is set up in the interface and needs the Marketplace, or HACS on 2026.10 and older.

## Supports

- **Works locally**: Talks to your devices on your own network. No vendor cloud in between.
- **From the Marketplace**: Installed through the Marketplace, formerly HACS.
- **Actively maintained**: Its author released or pushed a change in the last six months.

## Setting it up

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant, then add it under Settings, Devices and services.

### SmartHomeShop.io

- **Product**: Choose the SmartHomeShop product you want to configure.

### Choose a device

- **ESPHome device**

### Leak detection

- **Continuous flow alarm after**: Alert when water keeps flowing non-stop for this long. This catches a burst pipe, a forgotten garden hose or a running toilet. 30 minutes is a good default; choose longer if you often fill a bath or pool.
- **Night monitoring starts**: From this time on your home normally uses little to no water. Unexpected usage during the night window is treated as a possible leak.
- **Night monitoring ends**: End of the night window. After this time, normal daytime usage applies again.
- **Vacation mode switch (optional)**: Optional: pick a toggle helper (input\_boolean) that you switch on when you are away. While it is on, any water usage immediately raises a leak alert.

### After setup

- **Electricity price tariff 1**: What you pay per kWh at the normal/day tariff. Used for the cost sensors.
- **Electricity price tariff 2**: What you pay per kWh at the low/night tariff.
- **Feed-in compensation**: What you receive per kWh that your solar panels feed back into the grid.
- **Gas price**: What you pay per m³ of gas.
- **Water price**: What you pay per m³ (1000 litres) of water. Used for the water cost sensor.
- **Main fuse per phase**: The size of your main fuse per phase (see your meter cupboard, e.g. 25A or 35A). Used for the phase load sensor.
