It has 56 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 21, 2026. PlayStation® 3 is an integration that controls Sony PlayStation® 3 consoles from Home Assistant over the local network. It adds a media player that turns the system on and off, shows the active game title, session duration and game icon, and launches, stops or mounts games. A climate entity reports CPU, RSX and system temperatures and sets the fan mode to Dynamic, Auto, Manual or SYSCON, with a target temperature in Dynamic mode. A number entity sets the fan speed in manual mode and reports it in the other modes. A notify service shows messages on the TV screen, with a custom icon and sound. It only works with consoles running custom firmware such as Evilnat or PS3HEN with webMAN MOD installed, and setup in the UI asks for the console's IP address and an optional script that turns it on.
