# Anniversaries

> Anniversaries is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.8k installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated August 16, 2026.

Anniversaries is a Home Assistant integration that counts down the days to a recurring date such as a birthday. Each entry becomes a sensor whose state is the days remaining, or the days since the last occurrence when count up is chosen. Attributes include the next date, weeks remaining, and years passed, and the year can be left out if unknown. An optional half anniversary date can also be shown. Entries also appear in the Home Assistant calendar, which shows the next configured anniversary. Settings cover one-time events, custom icons for today and for soon, and the number of days counted as soon. It works locally and is set up in the UI.

## Setting it up

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant, then add it under Settings, Devices and services.
