It has 159 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 24, 2026. S3 Compatible is a custom integration that sends Home Assistant backups to S3 compatible storage endpoints. It adds a backup target that appears in Home Assistant once the integration is configured. It is a slight modification of the AWS S3 integration, with a configurable endpoint URL so that other S3 services can be used. Settings cover the access key, secret key, an existing bucket, a region, and an optional prefix that emulates a folder layout. A path to a custom certificate authority file can also be given for hosts that use one. Garage is listed as a known working service, and setup is done in the UI. This can be used to emulate a directory layout with 'foo/' - **Path to a pem file**: This is only used if you are using a custom CA for the S3 host. Most people will want to leave this blank - **Part size**: Size of each multipart upload part (5-256 MiB). Larger parts mean fewer requests but more memory. Default: 20. - **Parts uploaded at once**: How many parts are uploaded in parallel (1-8). More parts in parallel uses more of your upload bandwidth and more memory. Default: 1.
