It has 5.7k installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 22, 2026. TP-Link Tapo is a custom integration that controls Tapo devices from Home Assistant over the local network. It covers plugs, power strips, light bulbs, light strips, light switches, and the H100 hub with its siren and connected sensors, buttons and dials. Entities appear as binary sensors, climate, events, lights, numbers, sensors, sirens, switches, and updates. Some models also report energy monitoring, and firmware updates can be controlled from Home Assistant. Devices are added in the UI with the Tapo app email and password, and Home Assistant can also find some of them on the network by itself.
