# Energi Data Service

Energi Data Service is a Marketplace integration that fetches day-ahead electricity spot prices from the Energi Data Service API. It falls back to Nord Pool when Energi Data Service does not cover a given region. The integration adds a sensor whose state is the price for the current hour, and prices for other hours are available in its attributes. Settings cover price area, VAT, cents display, decimals, the unit used for calculation, and a template for additional costs. Optional extras include AI price forecasts from Carnot, which need a free API key, and automatic tariff data based on the chosen net operator. It needs the vendor's cloud and is set up in the UI.
