# JBL Integration

> JBL Integration is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 298 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated September 16, 2026.

JBL Integration is a custom integration that controls a JBL soundbar through the same interface the JBL One app uses. It communicates locally with the soundbar and reads its state, sets the volume, simulates button presses and changes the equalizer. In Home Assistant it provides binary sensors, buttons, numbers, selects, sensors and switches. Home Assistant can discover the soundbar on the network and offer to add it, or the soundbar's IP address can be entered by hand in the UI. The integration is only usable if the JBL One app also works with the soundbar.

- **Found by itself**: Home Assistant spots it on the network and offers to add it.
- **From the Marketplace**: Installed through the Marketplace, formerly HACS.
