It has 444 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 25, 2026. AnyList is a custom integration that brings AnyList shopping lists, recipes and meal planning into Home Assistant. Selected shopping lists appear as to-do entities where items can be viewed, added, renamed, checked off, reordered and removed. Each list also gets two select entities for item sort order and where new items are inserted. An optional diagnostic sensor exposes the meal plan iCalendar URL, and the polling interval can be set between 60 and 3600 seconds. Actions cover recipe search and retrieval, adding and updating items, and reading or creating categories. Returns recipes (id, name, score, match\_explanation, collections), count and has\_more. Scores rank relevance, not confidence. Use conversation context to select a candidate, clarify ambiguous matches before editing, then call get\_recipe with its exact ID for full details. Fields: Config entry ID, Query, Limit, Search ingredient names, Collection ID, Collection name - **Get recipes**: Return AnyList recipes with collection memberships and optional name substring and collection filters. For ranked word and typo matching, use search\_recipes, then get\_recipe with a selected ID. Fields: Config entry ID, Query, Include ingredients, Include preparation steps, Collection ID, Collection name - **Get recipe**: Return a single AnyList recipe with its collection memberships by ID or exact name. After search\_recipes, pass the selected candidate's exact ID as recipe\_id to retrieve full details. Clarify ambiguous matches before editing. Fields: Config entry ID, Recipe ID, Name, Include ingredients, Include preparation steps - **Add item**: Add an item or reuse a matching checked item. A supplied category overrides its previous category. Omitted quantity, notes, and category assignments are preserved on reused items. Fields: Name, Quantity, Notes, Category, Category ID, Category set ID - **Update item**: Change quantity, notes, or a category assignment without changing the item's name or checked state. Omitted fields and assignments in other category sets are preserved. Supply at least one field. Fields: Item, Quantity, Notes, Category, Category ID, Category set ID - **Get categories**: Return category names, IDs, and category sets for each targeted AnyList to-do entity, including empty categories. Refresh before reading and optionally include item counts per category. Fields: Category set ID, Include item counts - **Create category**: Create a custom category and optionally return its ID and metadata. Reject duplicate names within the selected set. Does not create items or change the default category. Fields: Name, Category set ID - **Get recipe collections**: Return all user recipe collections, including empty ones, with id, name and recipe\_ids. The system All Recipes view is excluded. Fields: Config entry ID - **Add recipe to collection**: Add an existing recipe to a collection and confirm the saved membership. Other memberships and recipe content are preserved. An already satisfied membership makes no change.
