# ZHA 🧰 Toolkit

> ZHA 🧰 Toolkit is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 3.4k installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 21, 2026.

ZHA 🧰 Toolkit is an integration that runs rare low-level Zigbee operations through ZHA. It adds actions to Home Assistant for reading and writing Zigbee attributes, binding and unbinding clusters, managing device groups, and configuring attribute reporting. Other actions scan routes and neighbours, get a device's binding table, ping a device, and make ZHA re-interrogate a device as on a new join. Coordinator data can be backed up for ZNP and EZSP adapters, and a blueprint covers a daily ZNP backup. Its single service runs different commands, so each can be used once from developer tools or scheduled in an automation. It works locally and is added through the Marketplace, then enabled in the configuration file.

## Supports

- **Works locally**: Talks to your devices on your own network. No vendor cloud in between.
- **From the Marketplace**: Installed through the Marketplace, formerly HACS.
- **Actively maintained**: Its author released or pushed a change in the last six months.

## Setting it up

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant. It is then set up in configuration.yaml.

## Actions

- **Execute any zha toolkit service**: Execute ZHA Toolkit service (Examine the documentation or code to know which parameters are needed)
