# ChargePoint

ChargePoint is a cloud-polling integration that exposes ChargePoint home charger, account, and public station data in Home Assistant. For home chargers it provides controls to start and stop charging sessions, restart the charger, adjust the amperage limit, and set LED brightness. Sensors cover charging status, cable state, network connectivity, session data such as power output and energy delivered, and account balance. Public or shared stations can be tracked by searching an area and choosing stations, with availability sensors for each station and port plus a Full Power Available sensor for automations. Home Flex chargers can feed Home Assistant's energy tracking through the energy output and charge cost sensors. Setup happens in the UI with ChargePoint credentials, and a session token can be used if bot protection blocks login.
