# Weathercloud

> Weathercloud is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 159 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 9, 2026.

Weathercloud is a HACS integration that brings Weathercloud personal weather station readings into Home Assistant. It adds sensors for temperature, dew point, wind chill, heat index, humidity, pressure, wind speed, wind gust, wind direction and rain. Data comes from the vendor's cloud, and a public station only needs its numeric station ID, while a username and password are optional and only used for private sensors such as inside temperature. Sensors a station does not report are disabled by default, and each station appears as one device. The polling interval can be changed in the options, and an option shows the station temperature on the Home Assistant map card. It is set up in the UI and relies on an unofficial library, so upstream endpoints may change.

## From the README

> Pull live readings from any public Weathercloud personal weather station straight into Home Assistant — no account, no API key, no cloud login. Just paste a station ID and you're done.
>
> ⚠️ Built on the unofficial, reverse-engineered weathercloud library. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Weathercloud; upstream endpoints may change without notice.
>
> - 🔌 Zero config — no account, no token. A station ID is all it takes.
> - 🧠 Smart sensor detection — your station's sensors are enabled; the ones it doesn't have are hidden away (disabled by default), so your dashboard stays clean.
> - 🏠 One device per station — every reading lands neatly under a single HA device.
> - ⏱️ Polite polling — defaults to every 10 min (the free-tier update rate), and you can tune it from 1–60 min in the options.
> - 🌍 Stations & airports — works with personal stations and METAR airport IDs.
