# AUX Cloud

> AUX Cloud is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 906 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 20, 2026.

AUX Cloud is an integration for AUX air conditioners and heat pumps that connect through the AUX Cloud service. It talks to the same cloud service as the AC Freedom mobile app and does not replace the device Wi-Fi module. It adds climate controls for the air conditioner and heat pump heating, a water heater, temperature and error sensors, a power limit number, selects for quiet mode and automatic water temperature, and switches such as eco mode, child lock, self cleaning and sleep mode. Updates normally arrive by cloud push over a websocket, with HTTP polling and command fallback when the websocket is unavailable. Sign-in works with an email address or a phone number, plus a region, and it handles several accounts and shared devices. It is set up in the Home Assistant UI and offers a diagnostics download for bug reports.

## From the README

> Unofficial Home Assistant integration for AUX Cloud appliances, including AUX air conditioners and AUX heat pumps. AUX Cloud is based on the BroadLink cloud platform, so this integration communicates with the cloud service used by the mobile app instead of replacing the device Wi-Fi module.
>
> The implementation is based on BroadLink public SDK documentation and reverse engineering of the AUX/AC Freedom Android app.
>
> - Cloud push integration using AUX/BroadLink websocket relay as the primary update path.
> - Websocket-first device control with HTTP command fallback when the websocket is unavailable or an acknowledgement fails.
> - Degraded HTTP polling fallback while websocket push is unhealthy.
> - Automatic one-shot session recovery when the cloud reports an expired or invalid login session.
> - Verified TLS, bounded request timeouts, rate-limit backoff, and serialized device commands.
> - Email-first config flow with Europe selected by default, optional phone login, and multiple accounts.
> - Native reauthentication, reconfiguration, and redacted diagnostics.
> - Support for personal and shared AUX Cloud devices.
> - Dynamic device discovery: devices added in AUX Cloud appear without reloading Home Assistant.
> - Product profiles for AUX air conditioners and heat pumps, including v3 heat-pump quirks.
> - Localized config, entity, and exception text in English, Polish, and Greek.
