# Komfovent

Komfovent is an integration for Komfovent C6, C6M and C8 air handling units, connected locally over Modbus TCP. It adds climate control with several temperature control modes, setpoint adjustment, ECO limits, and heater and cooler blocking. An operation mode selector covers away, normal, intensive, boost, kitchen, fireplace, override, holiday and air quality modes. Sensors report air temperatures, fan speeds, flow rates, heat exchanger efficiency, filter status, power use and alarms, and some readings show as unknown while the fans are stopped. Actions can calibrate clean filters, clear active alarms and set the unit's system time. A firmware update entity is available, and an option can check weekly for new controller firmware; setup is done in the UI.
