# Cloud Weather Proxy

> Cloud Weather Proxy is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 177 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated July 27, 2026.

Cloud Weather Proxy is an integration that receives local data from weather stations that publish to Weather Underground or Weathercloud. It shows the station readings in Home Assistant as sensors, and the data stays on the local network. The station's destination addresses are redirected locally, which needs a DNS server that can override single entries and an HTTP server that forwards the requests with a Home Assistant access token. This only works with stations that send unencrypted HTTP traffic, while stations using HTTPS take more effort unless they skip certificate checks. The weather data can optionally still be passed on to its original destination. Setup in Home Assistant is done in the UI, where options cover proxying each of the two services and which DNS servers look up the real addresses.
