It has 84 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 11, 2026. Solarfocus is a local Home Assistant integration for Solarfocus eco manager touch heating systems, read over Modbus TCP. It adds sensors, binary sensors, numbers, selects, buttons, a switch, a water heater and a climate entity for heating circuits. The climate entity handles heating, cooling and switching a circuit off, sets the flow temperature, and remembers the last setpoint per mode. Setup in the UI asks for host, port, polling interval, system type and API version, then how many heating circuits, buffers, boilers and solar circuits are installed, plus whether a heat pump, photovoltaic or biomass boiler is read. An option inverts the door contact reading for installations where the contact is wired the other way round. Cooling is offered only from a certain API version and turns off the controller's dew point monitoring, so that protection has to come from automations. The entities of the heating system are named after it. - **Host**: The hostname or IP address of the eco manager-touch. - **Port**: The Modbus TCP port of the controller, 502 unless it was changed. - **Polling interval (s)**: How often every configured component is read, in seconds. Five is the lowest accepted. - **Solarfocus system**: Which Solarfocus system this is. It decides which components can be selected in the next step. - **Solarfocus API Version**: The version the controller shows under Fachmann - Modbus. A higher one than it runs creates entities it cannot answer. ### Component Selection - **Heating circuits**: How many heating circuits the controller has. Each one becomes its own set of entities. - **Buffers**: How many buffer tanks are installed. - **Boilers**: How many hot water boilers are installed. - **Heat pump**: Whether the heat pump of the system should be read. - **Photovoltaic**: Whether the photovoltaic registers should be read. Only answered if a meter is connected. - **Biomass boiler**: Whether the biomass boiler of the system should be read. - **Solar**: How many solar circuits are installed. More than one needs API version 25.030 or newer. - **Fresh water module**: How many fresh water modules are installed. - **Circulation**: How many circulation groups are installed, one per boiler. Needs API version 25.030 or newer. - **Differential control module**: How many differential control modules are installed, each with two control loops.
