It has 76 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated June 22, 2026. Nextcloud Talk Bot connects Home Assistant with Nextcloud Talk rooms for sending and receiving chat messages. It adds a notifier that posts messages from Home Assistant to a room, which suits updates or alerts, and a default room can be set so a target is optional. Communication can run one way or both ways. For incoming messages, a webhook checks that a message comes from an authorized bot and then fires an event that automations can react to, such as opening a garage door when a certain message arrives. A blueprint is included that passes a room message to a conversation agent and sends the reply back to the room through the notifier. The integration depends on a Nextcloud instance reached over HTTPS, and the bot is created on the Nextcloud side with a webhook address and a shared secret.
