## Setting it up

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant, then add it under Settings, Devices and services.

### Neo Smart Controller

- **Host**: IP address or host name of the Neo Smart Controller.
- **Protocol**: HTTP is recommended because the controller reports errors over HTTP. TCP can't tell you if a command was wrong.

### Connection details

- **Port**: 8838 for HTTP, 8839 for TCP, unless you have changed it.
- **Controller ID**: The 24-character controller ID, shown under Your Controller in the Neo app. Required for HTTP, not used for TCP.
