# Elro Connects

> Elro Connects is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 50 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated August 12, 2026.

Elro Connects brings Elro Connects K1 connector alarms into Home Assistant and works locally. Fire, heat, carbon monoxide, smoke and water alarms appear as siren entities, and the connector also supplies sensors for device state, battery and signal, plus a switch for a socket. The sirens can start and silence a test alarm, and devices are discovered automatically through the K1 connector plug. Device names from the Elro Connects app are synced to Home Assistant, and a rename in Home Assistant is written back to the app within a 15 character limit. Sensors are polled about every 15 seconds, so an alarm state can take a moment to show up. It works only with the K1 connector, not the K2, and setup is done in the UI with either cloud credentials or a connector ID.
