# KNMI

> KNMI is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 2.1k installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 27, 2026.

KNMI is a custom integration that brings Dutch KNMI weather data, delivered through Weerlive.nl, into Home Assistant. It adds a weather entity with a daily forecast of up to 5 days and an hourly forecast covering up to 24 hours. Sensors cover values such as dew point, wind chill, air pressure, humidity, solar irradiance, and today's and tomorrow's temperature and precipitation, plus binary sensors for sun and warnings. Many of the entities are disabled at first and can be enabled individually. Setup happens in the UI with an API key, latitude, longitude and a name, and the scan interval can be changed in the options. The data comes from a cloud service, and the integration is translated into English and Dutch, while non-numerical values from the API are only in Dutch.
