# Weishaupt WEM Portal

Weishaupt WEM Portal is a custom integration that retrieves sensor data from the Weishaupt WEM Portal. It combines web scraping of the portal's expert view with the Weishaupt mobile API and makes the data available in Home Assistant. It provides sensors, plus numbers, selects and switches, and relies on the vendor's cloud. A mode setting chooses whether data comes from the API, the website, or both, with the API as the default. Separate update intervals can be set for web scraping and for the API, defaulting to 30 minutes and 5 minutes. Entity names can be shown in English or German, and setup is done in the UI with the portal email and password.
