It has 1k installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated September 13, 2026. Tuya Smart IR AC controls infrared air conditioners and generic infrared devices through a Tuya IR hub. It adds climate entities for air conditioners, along with buttons, numbers, selects and sensors, and can also read temperature and humidity sensors. It connects through the Tuya cloud, so a Tuya cloud project with access credentials is needed. An optional Tuya Pulsar stream delivers status changes as they happen, which avoids constant polling and API throttling. Each air conditioner can be configured with temperature limits, supported HVAC, fan and preset modes, linked temperature and humidity sensors, and options to force power on when settings change.
