# Global Electricity Spot Prices

> Global Electricity Spot Prices is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 84 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 27, 2026.

Global Electricity Spot Prices (GE-Spot) provides electricity spot prices from markets in many regions as Home Assistant sensors. Prices come in 15-minute intervals, and data from hourly, 30-minute and 5-minute sources is normalized to that resolution. Several data sources can be ranked by priority, with automatic switching to the next one when data is incomplete. Prices can include a VAT rate, an extra tariff, an energy tax and an import multiplier, and the display format and time reference are selectable. For prosumers, separate export sensors use their own multiplier, offset and VAT rate. An optional energy sensor adds a consumption-weighted average price that is compared with the market average. It relies on cloud data sources and is added through the Home Assistant interface.
