# Mistral AI Conversation

> Mistral AI Conversation is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 281 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 24, 2026.

Mistral AI Conversation is a custom integration that connects Home Assistant to Mistral AI models through the vendor's cloud. It adds conversation agents, AI Task, speech-to-text and text-to-speech, and several independently configured agents can run under one Mistral account. AI Task can generate structured data and images, and it accepts image and PDF attachments on models that support them. Assist tools let the agent read and control exposed entities, and each agent has its own instructions, model, output limit, temperature and reasoning effort. A repair notice appears when a configured Mistral model is deprecated, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports. Setup happens in the UI with a Mistral API key.
