# Qolsys Panel

Qolsys Panel is an integration that connects Home Assistant to a Qolsys alarm panel over the local network. It exposes the panel as many entity types, including alarms, locks, lights, covers, climate, sirens, scenes and weather, plus binary sensors for items such as tamper, AC status, battery status and fire, police and CO alarms. Sensors report signal strength in dBm, temperature, light, power and battery data. Actions can trigger police, auxiliary or fire alarms, change the master volume, update the Peek In picture, and start Quick Exit so a door can be opened while armed in stay mode without setting off an alarm. Options cover whether a user code is needed to arm or disarm, which alarm triggers are enabled, Peek In pictures, and a delay for motion sensors. Home Assistant can discover the panel on the network, and setup is done in the UI using the panel's IP address and a PKI unique ID.
