It has 205 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated April 8, 2025. Nordpool Planner is a custom integration that finds the cheapest time window for running high-consumption devices from Nord Pool spot prices. It searches a set number of hours ahead for the start time with the lowest average price over a chosen duration, and a low-cost binary sensor turns on when the current time falls inside that window. A high-cost binary sensor gives the inverse, and extra sensors report when the next lowest and highest cost periods begin. Search length, duration and end time are exposed as adjustable number entities, and optional thresholds can switch the output on when the cost or its rate to the daily average is below a set level. A status entity reports the overall health of the planner. It takes prices from a Nord Pool sensor or an ENTSO-e entity, runs locally and is set up in the UI, with a moving planner type and a static type that is described as unfinished.
