# Hatch Rest Mini/Plus

Hatch Rest Mini/Plus is an integration that controls Hatch Rest and Restore sound machines from Home Assistant. It exposes binary sensors, lights, a media player, numbers, scenes, selects, sensors, switches and time entities, and it talks to the vendor's cloud. Depending on the model, it starts and stops built-in sounds, sets volume, changes light brightness and color, and reports battery and charging status. Newer Rest models can activate favorites as scenes, and Restore models can enable or disable existing alarms and change their wake times. Options let the Rest+ turn on automatically when media starts or the light turns on, and let favorite scene names show preset numbers. Setup is done in the UI with the Hatch account email and password.
