# Toon Climate

Toon Climate is a Home Assistant integration that provides a climate device for rooted Toon thermostats. It talks to the thermostat locally and lets Home Assistant switch between heat mode, which holds a manual setpoint, and auto mode, which follows the Toon schedule. Presets cover away, home, comfort, sleep and an eco preset that maps to the Toon vacation mode. The climate entity also exposes extra attributes meant for use in automations. Setup happens in the UI with the Toon's address, port, name, temperature limits and update interval, and these can be changed later without a restart. Older YAML configuration is imported automatically, and a repair notice asks for the YAML to be removed afterwards.

## Setting it up

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant, then add it under Settings, Devices and services.

### Set up Toon Climate

- **Host**: IP address of your rooted Toon device
- **Port**: Port number (default: 80, alternatives: 10080, 7080)
- **Name**: Display name for the thermostat
- **Minimum Temperature**: Minimum temperature setpoint (°C)
- **Maximum Temperature**: Maximum temperature setpoint (°C)
- **Update Interval (seconds)**: Update interval in seconds (default: 10)

### After setup
